I was employed by Moultrie Geology in Queensland, Australia as an exploration geologist. I was contracted to Vale Australia, BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance, and Carabella Resources. My tasks included geotechnical and geological logging of soils and rock, conducting gas desorption tests on coal samples, downhole geophysical log interpretation, training and supervision of new geologists, safety management and supervision, and structural interpretation.
