I was developing and maintaining the core web applications dealing with Work Experience placements, the area prospectuses and education planning web applications initially as cover while permanent staff were recruited. I developed, tested and released new versions of the system whilst coordinating with the support teams to deal with client issues as they arose and adding new functionality. The subsequent take over by UCAS meant that I stayed on and continued to solely manage the applications.

I was mainly involved in Umbraco CMS extension and development as well as a number of other projects which have included using the ASP.NET MVC v2 framework and SQL server reporting. I left to pursue contract employment to allow me to expand my horizons and skills.
