Merged an acquired medical centre business in London into the group structure. Implemented UK GAAP, UK company & employment law and UK taxation legislation. Restructured group to reduce tax exposure. Established a SSC achieving significant cost savings. Managed finance team of 4 people. Designed financial reporting infrastructure. Implemented effective internal controls for highest accounting accuracy. Budgeting, cash-flow management and financial performance reporting.

Responsible for the accounting, external audit management, trade register filings and tax returns for a number of financial companies located in Ireland, Switzerland, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. These entities were all wholly owned subsidiaries of the Black & Decker Corporation. One entity in particular that I was solely responsible for had a balance sheet with Total Assets of approx. €2 Billion. Preparation, consolidation and analysis of month end closing, budgets and forecasts. Reporting to US HQ.
