As Country Publisher, I lead the Economist Intelligence Unit's Country Analysis team and oversee the publication of Country Analysis's portfolio of subscription products as well as our daily analysis "Events" service. I have also been spearheading the Economist Intelligence Unit's strategy for China, notably piloting the launch of the Access China product in 2010, which features detailed forecasts for 31 Chinese provinces and nearly 300 Chinese cities.

* Led the EIU's Global Forecasting team and published the company's flagship Global Forecasting Service (now available for free on registration at www.gfs.eiu.com). * Ensured editorial and forecast consistency across the EIU's 200+ country forecasts. * Led and shaped the EIU's response to the 2007-08 global economic crisis.

* Senior economist in the EIU's Asia team, specialising in Japan, South Korea and North Korea. Also responsible for pan-regional issues. * From 2006 to 2008 I combined this role with that of chief automotive analyst, managing the EIU's automotive forecasts and analysis.

Providing services to Japanese companies seeking to expand abroad. These included events, translations and videos.

Head of an English language school
