2 months full-time internship dedicated to the Preliminary Design of a Sample Fetching Rover in the framework of a Mars Sample Return Mission. Main tasks: - Identification of the main subsystems, design drivers and requirements. - Elaboration of mass, power and energy budgets for the main subsystems. - Sizing of the Rover locomotion subsystem to improve obstacle negotiation and range capabilities.

6 months full-time internship dedicated to the determination of the Permeability of Fibrous Reinforcements used in aeronautical composites. Main tasks: - Preparation of deformed and undeformed CFRP textile samples. - 3D imaging of their microstructure using X-ray microtomography. - Samples post-processing using Fiji – ImageJ software for data cleansing and image enhancement in order to generate realistic 3D models. - Fine CFD simulations from the 3D images to estimate the permeability.
