As EGM of External Data Monetization I hold responsibility for: 1) Creating value propositions that exploit the wealth of data a mobile network operator holds across multiple economic sectors, 2) Generating new revenue streams for the business, 3) Product marketing, product management, data science and technical delivery. Part of the position is also contributing to the Data & Business Intelligence unit in consolidating all valuable data and building advance analytical models also for internal use.

In charge of the technical delivery of the big data strategy of Telefonica Digital. This position involves finding effective ways of using telco data to deliver working propositions internally and to the market. Key responsibilities of this role are building a robust technical and team structure for managing, processing and analysing Telefonica's data, working very closely with business stakeholders to prioritise value for the business and leading technical teams of data scientists and software developers.

Leader of the analytics group in the User Modelling area of Telefonica R&D. In this position I lead a team of 15+ highly skilled data scientists and engineers, defining and developing global products that deliver customer insights from big volumes of data to several countries across the Telefónica footprint. An important part of this role is engaging with business units to identify opportunities where customer insights can make a difference.

R&D manager, co-responsible for the definition of the R&D agenda of the company and leader of different R&D projects in the areas of information integration, (semantic) SOA, and (semantic) information integration, with a focus on the financial and banking fields. This position also includes the management of Business Intelligence projects with customers of the banking industry.

Researcher at DERI Innsbruck, Austria, in the field of semantic web and semantic web services, working for EU-funded research projects involving partners Europe-wide. Project manager of the EU network of Excellence Knowledge Web, and leader of the workpackage on semantic web services. This position included a rotation at DERI Galway, Ireland.

IT analyst for projects in the financial domain (financial simulators, foreign trade platforms, financial contents management and delivery, information portals) and project manager of the knowledge management system of the company.

Internship at Analistas Financieros Internacionales as part of my university education, working in the development of financial simulators and the company knowledge management system.

Thesis title: "A flexible model for the semi-automatic location of services". The research of the PhD thesis was partly carried at the University of Innsbruck, Austria, and at the University of Galway, Ireland, and it included an internship at the National Technology University of Argentina.
