Aeroelasticity problems are dimensioning for turbomachinery industry. ONERA developed an aeroelasticity code to calculate structural damping for turbomachinery. Mission goal was to test this code called ELSA (Ensemble Logiciel simulation en Aerodynamique) and look for an optimized way to calculate compressor damping. Calculation implemented on TURBOMECA compressors.
