(Previously GE Jenbach) Working with customers from the initial offer, through to detailed design, and commissioning of gas engine power stations (20 - 200MW). Our team works with all things electrical within the power plant, including the MV primary switchgear, transformers, generators, DC systems, SCADA and protection systems, etc.. We are also responsible for the configuration and coding of the control systems of the electrical and mechanical systems within our customers' power plants.

Responsible for managing a team of engineers who provide detailed designs and/or the contract management services of outsourced work. In addition to providing operational and technical support to the wider business, this role requires the management of project costs, times/schedules, and resources.

Providing the scoping, modelling, specifications, detailed designs, calculation documents, settings/configuration files and general technical support for various projects. These projects involve new and old substations, transmission lines and generation connections (primary voltages ranging from 0.415kV to 330kV). Additional responsibilities include reviewing and signing off on work done by internal and external engineers, fault investigations and other after-hour technical support for operational staff.

Responsible for the analysis, design and setting of both new and old power system protection systems.

Tutor for First, Second and Third year Electrical Engineering Students.

Vacational work followed by part time work involving the consolidation of a number of international offshore oil & gas electrical standards into a single electrical practices manual. Another project involved creating a tool for project managers to monitor and manage cost, time and resources in their projects.
