Leading a team of currently 9 acoustic engineers within the field of automotive, area of expertise: technical acoustics (NVH) for steering systems. Technical leadership of acoustic engineers in branch offices (plants and regional headquarters) worldwide. Direct and indirect budget management for all technical acoustic related expenses, e.g. personnel, measurement equipment in laboratories (test benches, sensors, front ends, tools etc.) and specific small to medium external development projects.

Taking on an additional role as Interim Change Manager for a defined time frame. Hiring of successor for a Change Manager role within the field of automotive, component steering gear. Coordination of cross project and cross customer changes related to the design and / or process of steering gear parts used in multiple customer projects. Establishment of roles, responsibilities and change control boards for cross changes together with a chosen core team. Execution of new concept in form of a pilot phase.

Supplier relationship management. Development of external automotive suppliers for critical steering gear components. Execution of Production Part Approval Processes / Process Audits to ensure the understanding of customer requirements, series production under compliance of the needed manufacturing productivity as well as all requirements and specifications. Supporting suppliers to implement lessons learned, in problem solving tasks & definition of counter measures for specific problems (5D/8D).

Main contact for all technical acoustic related topics for the component "Power-Pack" (electric motor & ECU HW/SW) of steering systems during acquisition, development & production phase. Development and optimization of the "Power-Packs" acoustic performance to ensure the compliance of relevant acoustic requirements on steering system & vehicle level. Definition of acoustic standards, processes & specification for external suppliers & internal function areas. Problem solving to ensure acoustic performance.
