Working on project entitled, ‘Low-cost affinity biosensors for cardiac applications’ under an Indo-Australian joint research program of IIT Bombay, India and Monash University, Australia. The work involves development and validation of a new platform of low-cost instantaneous sensors for medical/cardiac applications based on affinity measurement.

As a lecturer my responsibilities were teaching Nanoscience to the engineering undergraduates along-with developing group research projects as a part of the course curriculum. Being a faculty of nanoscience the secondary task were to organise workshops/symposia/expert talks related to the respective discipline.

As a research intern I worked on fabrication techniques of electrode for DNA based biosensors for CML (Chronic Myelogenous Leukaemia). Characterization of the electrode through various techniques; SEM, FTIR, Contact angle. Sensing validation of electrode via Cyclic Voltammetry, Differential Pulse Voltammetry and Impedance Spectroscopy.
