• Strategic and operational leadership of the R&D department with about 30 developers (electrical, electronic, mechanical) across two locations. Reporting to the Managing Director and the CTO. • Responsible for developing innovative drives and controls for sun shading systems.

• Oversaw R&D dept of 30+ engineers (System, SW, HW, MECH) to develop innovative thermal management solutions for E-mobility. • Deputy of Automotive director. Managed €x million budget. • Defined and guided technology and product roadmaps. Managed relationships with external R&D partners. • Optimized R&D processes to align with automotive standards (e.g. IATF, ASPICE, ISO 26262). Introduced Neural Networks and Machine Learning, increasing product reliability and shortening development cycles.

• Spearheaded various cockpit electronics programs focusing on Infotainment Cluster (IC), Central Information Display (CID) and Rear Seat Entertainment display (RSE). • Led large international cross-functional program teams and served as main customer contact for Daimler and BMW. • Managed KPI accountability towards Sr. Management for programs with annual revenues of roughly €xxx M, R&D budgets of up to €xx M and CAPEX of up to €x M.

• Successfully managed multiple automotive programs for Daimler, consistently exceeding financial targets, including projects like Central Information Display for Mercedes C-Class, Park Distance Control platform, Analogue Clocks, and Smart Additional Instruments. • Effectively oversaw typical program budgets of up to €x M for ENG and up to €x M for CAPEX, while achieving annual program sales of up to €xx M. • Realized annual cost savings of €xxxk by managing various VAVE activities on current models.

• Proficiently led 1st MQB IC platform for Volkswagen, including car models such as Golf, Touran, Škoda Octavia, Seat León, and others. • Managed distributed product development across 4 European locations with 150 engineers and €xx million ENG budget. Reported to VP level. • Drove lean process Initiative within R&D and project management, serving as a core member of the corporate lean & cost initiative. • Supported RFQs of Telematics Units for BMW and other OEMs, resulting in significant business win.

• SW lead and task force manager for Smart Fortwo Instrument Cluster, successfully achieved customer SOP in March 2007 with high customer satisfaction. • Championed the premium Instrument Cluster for BMW 7-series, leading 75 global SW members, managing complex stakeholder network. Reported to VP level. Recognized with “Johnson Controls Merit Award” for outstanding performance on largest SW project at that time.

• Skillfully supervised diverse SW projects in the domain of Automotive Infotainment and Head-Units, Avionic Applications (DAL C-E), Telecom, Industrial and Biomedical Engineering. • Deputy Director of Avionics. Managed Airbus A380 projects as team lead of 11 members. • Oversaw and supported presales, IT-Consulting and coaching activities for project management, SW engineering and product homologation at customer site • Defined and managed off-shoring activities for inter-divisional projects at Xcc.

• Designed and developed Software applications for the planning station of CASPAR (“Computer Assisted Surgery for Planning And Robotics”), a system developed for accurate invasive orthopedic surgery that has been applied in multiple hospitals across Europe • Coached product managers and surgeons to enhance their skills and knowledge in relevant areas.

• Conducted a feasibility study for ultrasonic-based computer-assisted total hip arthroplasty, utilizing self-created Software and matching algorithm during my diploma thesis.

I am taking a brief break to enhance my skills in Digital Leadership and Innovation Management as I prepare for the next phase of my career. I am already excited about new interesting opportunities and challenges, that lie ahead!
