Design of Bluetooth, GSM/GPRS, WiFi, ZigBee PCB boards, development kits and customized solutions, customer support and design

- Design and realization of hardware, firmware and communication protocol for control and satellite localization board based on 8-bit Microchip microprocessor (with CAN Bus, digital IO and 10-bit AD converters) - GSM / GPRS modem and GPS embedded design - Acquisition of perimeter signals of auto vehicles directly from the CAN bus of the vehicle - Upgrade of firmware via GPRS and programming of board with customized C SCRIPT - Remote testing of boards installed in customers’ vehicles

- Responsible for design of several IT projects such as GPS/GSM/GPRS tracker, ZigBee module for goods tracking, Bluetooth and WLAN modules based on ARM9 processor to realize set top box for video streaming

-Research activities in robotics, automation, all fields of electronics and embedded systems involving collaboration with several research institutes and industrial companies -Researcher for European project ROBOVOLC “A Robot For Volcano Exploration” www.robovolc.dees.unict.it. -Collaboration with ST Microelectronic (http://www.st.com) to realize neural network model of combustion dynamics in internal combustion engine by obtaining real time measurements of the several sensors applied.
