A part of the high-frequency team, I was responsible for data analysis and to further model this data for trading strategies. My day-to-day responsibilities included monitoring the trading system during trading hours, and statistically analysing the performance of trading strategies. I was required to constantly manage portfolio positions, and to flag any skewed trade positions. I also worked regularly on building and maintaining a database of exchanges and products which was vital for automated trading.
