Dr. Sandra Dylus

As programming languages researcher my daily routine consists of reading about new languages, tools, concepts and frameworks. Most of my research involves the design of concise but maintainable libraries as well as trying out other frameworks and libraries that try to tackle similar problems and use cases. As a teaching assistant and advisor of student theses, I have experience in disciplinary as well as professional management. I'm also a known fan of agile methods (weekly stand-ups, kanban).

As a freelance web developer, I finished multiple projects in cooperation with ck-design. All projects involved programming web sites using Haskell and the Fay framework that compiles to JavaScript. [Fay]: 192.168.188.24.

I was a teaching assistant for the courses "Advanced Programming" (covering concurrent programming in Java, functional programming in Haskell and logic programming in Prolog) and "Informatik 1" (teaching python/ruby for non-CS students).
