Assisting in the launch of K24 into the Australian market

I was responsible for the finance and administration of ten companies with input into budgets, forecast planning and expenditure control. I assisted with the preparation of financial statements, maintained inter company transactions, identified and resolved account discrepancies and reconciled all bank statements. I managed payroll, superannuation, both debtor and creditor accounts as well as BAS and payroll taxes.

I was marketing manager for three land development sites and two motels owned by the company. I designed advertising for both digital and print marketing and signage for the estates. I designed, coded, launched and maintained websites for these companies while initiating a stronger online presence.

I maintained general ledger accounts, assisted in the planning and development of an accounting system upgrade, carried out credit history checks, and ensured compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations. I oversaw the day to day banking of two motels and reconciled their accounts including stock take.

I held various positions over my time at the cinemas including ticket box supervisor, Candy Bar supervisor, Gold Class supervisor and Health and Safety Manager. It was always about helping the staff to better serve the customer whilst ensuring job satisfaction for all employees. It was a demanding role straight out of school which I learnt a number of skills I still employ to this day.
