At Scheidt & Bachmann GmbH, a plant engineering company that develops and produces it’s own hard- and software, I am currently managing legal and strategical procurement affairs for international projects (e.g. in Canada, Germany, UK, Slovakia and Hungary) including: ·Drafting and negotiation of (framework) agreements e.g. on network services, payment services, software development, real estate, installation work ·General legal consultation ·Research on recent changes in legislation/jurisdiction

After my promotion to Senior Consultant, I attended trainings that helped me to take over first management tasks. I became responsible for managing junior colleagues and took over additional tasks such as: ·Negotiating service agreements with customers ·Holding presentations for customers on recent legal developments to enhance their understanding of the respective practical impact and potential red flags ·Distributing tasks to junior colleagues and helping them develop in their first roles

My first role at Ernst & Young AG gave me the opportunity to experience and gain the skills to process projects holistically - from preparing and negotiating the quote, to providing the agreed scope, to sending the invoices. The scope of such projects included tasks such as: ·Consultation in Swiss Immigration Law and regarding corporate relocation policies ·Coordination with the tax and social security department ·Research on recent changes in legislation/jurisdiction

Terre des Femmes e.V. is a NGO for women’s rights. The organization has a variety of departments which include, but are not limited to, forced marriage, female gender mutilation, and violence in the name of honour. During my internship I learned how an NGO works and took over various tasks such as: ·Identifying the legal background on various cases ·Article writing for a magazine ·Organizing community events ·Communication with members of the NGO

At Zeppelin, a plant engineering company, I worked together with the general legal counsel which made it possible for me to discover the diversity of legal tasks as a corporate lawyer. I was able to apply the knowledge gained while in University and took over the following tasks: ·Preparing legal statements ·Participation in international contract negotiations ·Contract review ·Internal training ·Review and the standardization of an internal company policy (fleet policy)
