    Dr. Sarah Kinkley

Heinrich-Pette Institute for Experimental Virology and Immunology

I am a post-doctoral group leader. My research focuses on understanding the biological mechanisms involved in tumor development and oncogenic transformation. My group and I work on a novel protein which is involved in epigenetic regulation and whose over expression leads to polyploidization and aneuploidization of cells.

  • 3 Jahre und 10 Monate, Sep. 2000 - Juni 2004

    Graduate Research / Research Associate

    Queen's University

During this time I completed my Graduate research with an emphasis on protein biochemistry and molecular medicine. The topic of my graduate research was inflammatory amyloidosis. Following this I continued on as a research associate in the lab for an additional year.

  • 8 Monate, Sep. 1999 - Apr. 2000

    Undergraduate research student

    Queen's University

During this time I completed my undergraduate research thesis on the genetic disorder Haemochromatosis
