Further training in scale-up of Liposomal formulations and knowledge transfer in pilot scale stage.

Implemented new synthetic routes for antiviral targets based on the structure based drug design and methodology for metal catalyzed cross coupling reactions of heterocyclic compounds. Participated in establishing plan for screening methods based on Mass Spectrometry. • Designed synthetic routes for substituted pyrroles as inhibitor for antiviral therapeutics based on the structure based drug design. • Developed a synthetic methodology for heterocyles by palladium catalyzed cross-coupling (C-C, C-N) reaction

Identify and introduced new experimental techniques to solve research problems from external clients from the pharmaceutical Industry. • Designed, synthesized and performed large-scale synthesis of 1,4 diazepine as a key API intermediate. • Ensured that the projects met defined policies and procedures it was intended to meet as per the customer requirements. • Directed and oversaw experimental design and results of junior lever scientist.

Searched for new synthetic methods- self-healing polymers, N- heterocyclic carbenes. Maintained polymer characterization lab as a facility manager. • Synthesized first acyclic N-heterocyclic carbenes and developed new synthetic methods for self-healing polymer materials. • Trained new members in polymer characterization facility and ensured the polymer facility was running efficiently and reduced a maintenance cost by 5%.

Research, analyze and bring initiatives in N-heterocyclic carbenes chemistry and ethylene oligomerization. • Designed synthetic route for anellated N-heterocyclic carbenes and their metal complex. • Investigated the influence of anellation effects in Suzuki type cross-coupling reactions. • Evaluated functionalized N-heterocyclic carbene as ligands in ethylene oligomerization. • Participated in research training of technicians in the university CTA program.
