Project expense monitoring required a team of two, working full-time for a week, manually collating data from mainframes, web apps (JSON), and spreadsheets, and cross-referencing in Excel to calculate remaining budget. Automated cycle by: 1. Connecting final spreadsheet to various data sources; 2. Transforming data with advanced functions; and 3. Outputting into views and slides for PMs and stakeholders to consume. This reduced time spent on task to just a few minutes.

Worked across multiple vendors to drive the key SLA metric (TTOR) to its target of 5%, from high levels of around 80%, for two service lines on the HALO program of AT&T. This program automated and connected all systems in the process from order booking to order provisioning, with almost no human touch during the entire cycle. Successfully met TTOR metric goals, leading to improved customer satisfaction. This allowed AT&T to launch the program on-time with confidence in its goal of automation.

• Cultivated and grew client and partner confidence in IBM India team. Cultural differences led to communication gaps and misunderstanding. Ran cultural awareness trainings to help reduce errors, and greater partnership and trust between client, offshore teams, and partner businesses. • Built and managed high performing account teams to generate record levels of revenue, delivering C$45M in revenue, and C$12.5M in profits.

Projects were almost always overrunning their costs, as resource planning was not in sync. Developed early-warning, forecasting and estimating techniques for better oversight management and efficient use of resources. This connected estimation, resource planning, and project office teams and systems, synced data, and led to 99.7% of projects being delivered within budget.

To help in faster testing cycles, introduced test automation and built a completely automated regression test suites on the top 5 applications in my area. Enabled continuous regression testing after each build, instead of one cycle of regression testing per release. Reduced post delivery defects by 20%, and improved testing cycle times to 1-2 weeks from the previous four-week cycle.

• Built testing team when new contract was signed for contract management application. Systems, checks, and balances, were put in place for quality delivery of enhancements to the application. • Set up offshore team to complement testing by client-side team, to ensure better turnaround on testing and results. Resulted in project delivery times falling from six months to four months.

MS Office, MS Project, Test case design and execution, Test Management, Root Cause Analysis, DRTT (custom defect tracking), TPM (Test Process and tools), TMT (custom test management tool), IFP (custom project management software), RMT (custom Requirements management tool) • Users reported 1,000 bugs in first release of a new application. Diligent and meticulous testing meant the number of bugs reported in subsequent releases fell close to zero.

Start-up business in custom software development. • Technologies and skills applied: Java, J2EE, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Project Management • Joined initial team to setup infrastructure (network, hardware, and software). Built software development team by actively working with recruitment team, and doing technical evaluation of each and every technical member (approx. 75 members) of the organization. • Won an exclusive C$1.25M contract from a Mauritius-based company.

Provider of software training and development. • Technologies and skills applied: Java, J2EE, C++, HTML • Enhanced training method and materials by adding custom presentations to illustrate object oriented programming concepts clearly. These helped entire class to graduate in their first attempt. • Enabled a client by building an auction site as a demonstration of software capability. The client was then able to successfully bid on an RFP of C$1.25M.

Entrepreneurial venture in the manufacture of Tungsten Carbide Tools. • Specialized in watch making tools. Built customer relations resulting in exclusive annual contracts for products, leveraging exceptional product quality and competitive prices. The key was building trust by personally being available to listen and respond to any customer issue reported.
