Head - Asset Servicing (AVP) with Royal Bank of Scotland and am responsible for managing risk of the process with key involvement in preparing the risk framework for the team followed by reviewing the entire process and implementing controls to mitigate inherent risk. I have successfully migrated the process from Mumbai to Gurgaon. I am also chairing the weekly control calls with Onshore Counterparts & Controls Head and provide regular updates to Senior Management and Global Head of Asset Servicing.

I was involved in reconciliation of Trader’s Risk Products and positions versus Firm books/records spanning investigation and resolution of breaks. I had efficiently managed the spectrum of activities encompassing reconciliation of Swap vs. Hedge positions and substantiation of Dividend & Commissions before it is posted to the P&L.

I was entrusted with the accountability of processing of all Corporate Action Mandatory, Dividends and Structured Products. I monitored KPI’s and KCI’s and provided substantiation on the Controls and Risk items along with monitoring and resolving fails, breaks and aging outstanding exceptions.

I had successfully contributed in preparation of terms and conditions for providing banking facilities to SME & Corporate Banking Customers such as Overdrafts, Letters of Credit, Letters of Guarantee, Commercial Loans and FX Forward Exchange Contracts, etc.

As Team Leader - Global Cash Management & Reconciliation, I played a key role in overseeing the Nostro Reconciliation & Investigation Process while meeting the SLAs and monitored the performance, guided and provided constructive feedback to team members and supervisors. I also undertook ownership of control report exceptions (KPI’s) and MIS as well as monitored the Continuous Improvement Projects and ensured their completeness with stipulated time.
