In line with my employment with Western Ag I aim to support farmers in the following areas: AGRONOMICS: Through implementing a customized PRS Cropcaster® recommendation, farmers optimize crop returns by catering crop selection to the field, through evaluation of crop economics, and by using a balanced fertilizer blend. The resulting synergies enhance crop productivity with customers seeing significant yield increases.

Assisting soil survey programs in boreal and agricultural areas of Alberta including soil classification, sampling, fieldwork preparation, data management and reporting

Development of mine closure plans, soil and overburden analysis, development of mine management plans, environmental compliance, strategic planning, contaminated site assessment, evaluation of natural resources, GIS analysis and map development for various projects.

My current research is targeting Land Reclamation strategies in the Athabasca Oil Sands, where we try to improve current procedures and to develop new strategies for upland reclamation.

The Spatial Development and Natural Resource Management Masters Program is an interdisciplinary, research-oriented, but also application-oriented graduate program.

The Forest Sciences Bachelors Programme is complex, interdisciplinary and research-oriented and deals with the forest ecosystem in its entirety and its manifold relations to the environment.
