I am currently the Social Media Manager for one of Australia's largest brands, Optus, a telecommunications company equivalent to Vodafone in Germany. Heading up a team of 15, I'm ultimately responsible for all activities Optus undertakes in social media - marketing, customer care, corporate communications, and internal reporting.

Contract role with this London agency producing websites around the world for key client Johnson & Johnson. I managed site rollouts across Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific. I was the single point of contact for the client worldwide - with daily phone calls around the globe. It was my job to manage and resolve support issues, and I improved my project planning skills - estimating costs and delivering projects on budget, and scheduling resource and resolving conflicts.

Six month contract managing the creation and maintenance of localised websites for this computer games publisher in 15 countries in Europe. I improved my community management skills by coordinating community strategy and activities around Europe. I project managed the build of a web portal and microsites, briefing international technical and design agencies and managing stakeholder expectations and feedback across Europe and the US.

Content production: Development of feature articles – researching, writing and editing. Uploading and editing content with content management system (CMS). Sourcing and supplying content across News Corp network of websites & newspapers. Conceiving, scoping and wire-framing new sections. Graphic & web design including editing videos for use on site. Reworking articles for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). Usability testing - front and backend.

One of the first on board at inthemix.com.au as it grew to become Australia's #1 music website. Responsible for: Community management - developing site's forums. Managing content across the site’s articles, galleries, and forums. Assigning interviews and reviews to staff across Australia, editing submitted articles. Writing feature articles, interviews, press releases, advertorial. Banner advertising design and other graphic illustration skills. Coding in HTML and PHP using Homesite and Dreamweaver.
