Responsible for the safe and efficient management of all aspects ground operations; Manage and monitor external service providers to ensure the cargo/ground operations product is delivered effectively; Prepare the annual budget and monitor the costs of ground operations ; Manage the OCC and responsible for staff training; Assist the Security Manager to implement and maintain the Security Programme including, but not limited to, facility, aircraft, employee identification, Training and other operations.

Define, in liaison with the Head of Training the aviation related ground training requirements in order meet regulatory requirements; Monitor and continuously review crew ground training programme to ensure that crew members meet the knowledge, requirements and standards of and the training programme complies with company policies and procedures; Design, develop and implement aviation ground training course-ware in line with training programmes and learning philosophy, policies, procedures and practices;

Evaluate IT system improvements that have direct impact on the daily activity, recommending changes or enhancements in software, policies and procedures that affect the organization; Create, develop and implement projects that allow improvements on the inter/intra departmental relationship to maximize performance efficiency and effectiveness of the departments; Identify training and development needs within the organisation and then plan, control and execute technical training for Flight Centre personnel.

Managing all the activities required to run the day-to-day Flight Dispatch department, ensuring compliance with all applicable business and industry specific legislative/regulatory requirements and company procedures on a worldwide operation.

Manage the departure/arrival flight process by managing ground teams while consistently seeking to optimise the on time performance and/or maximise the payload;

Supervise handling agents to ensure safety and standards procedures were followed

Prepare and deliver flight briefings and flight plans to crews including NOTAMs and weather information relevant to the flights:
