In 2009, as a result of the EHS Programs, the company received was recognized in a STPS newspaper as one of “25 Cases of Success” in Mexico. Working primarily with the HR, Production, Materials and Maintenance departments I facilitated and managed the Training, Housekeeping, Safety Audits, Chemical Management, Accident Prevention and Investigation Programs. Efforts increased Safety Training from 6 hours per employee per year in 2004 up to 18+ hours in 2005. Housekeeping inspections went form once a month to weekly improving area scores from 30% to +75%.
