Director, Technologies, Architectures and Standardization, ITM. Responsible for the technologies, Architecture and Governance world-wide for DaimlerChrysler. Global organization with divisions in USA/Detroit and Germany/Stuttgart. Global product responsibility for all the Base infrastructure, operating systems, Databases, Business Intelligence, Middleware, Software development environments, Application platforms, Mobile computing environments, advanced solution factory.

Commercial vehIcles. ITM. Directed the Outsourcing strategy team for the Commercial Vehicles Division, Program Management Office chief for the Strategic Sourcing Initiative. Managed the global team building up strategic partners from low-income countries (mainly India and in Eastern Europe) and proving the business case and feasibility of working models. 3 Strategic partners were selected after a 9 month period of pilot project phase.

Leader of the organization responsible for the global telematics strategy of overall DaimlerChrysler (including Mercedes-Benz, Smart, Chrysler and Mitsubishi). Doctoral thesis on “A Radar Scatterometer for Polarization Analysis of Remote Sensing Signals” Research Associate in Radar Remote Sensing. Research Assistant with lab work for graduate students at the University of Stuttgart. Various satellite and air-born based system development and tests together with NASA, ESA and DLR – German Aerospace Establishment (Oberpfaffenhofen and Stuttgart, in Germany).
