    After the tragic events of September 11th, Sharon took the reigns of the company and restructured it to become a woman-owned business. She quickly learned the "added value" of becoming WBE-certified and the opportunities that would afford her company. That same year, she was interviewed by Roseanne Colletti of NBC News as a woman-owned business in New York City participating in Mayor Bloomberg*s "Success and the City" Small Business Award Competition.

    After her marriage to Brian in 1989, they agreed that her vast business experience and expertise would be beneficial to Mahin Impressions. Initially her role was in the financial area and through the culminization of her previous experience, she quickly mastered the printing industry. Through the years she began to assist in the various areas of management and marketing and as a result the company grew and expanded, and so did her role.
