I was awarded a professional cricket contract with Middlesex CCC of the back of a great 2005 season where I scored my maiden 2nd X1 hundred against Surrey and also 3 Under 19 100's in the 3 matches that I played. That season I also held the record for most runs scored in the Middlesex league (987 runs at an average of more than 65). In my two professional seasons (whilst at University of Kent) I opened the batting and consistently preformed.
