Collaborating and brainstorming with the creative team to define design briefs and requirements. Researching concepts, designs, reference material. Rendering and presenting design mockups for revision and feedback. Implementing feedback and creating final designs for printing. Reviewing designs to ensure that copy, layout, and dimensions are print-ready. Overseeing the printing process to ensure color quality and consistency. Communicating updates, feedback, and issues with the clients, managers, and team.

Responsible for the newspaper design and editing such as copy editing and headline writing; editing for length, copy style and accuracy. Promote visual storytelling via photographs, graphics, illustrations and typography. Communicate with the leadership regarding page design as needed and maintenance of the website.

Database maintains (transferring data from paper formats into the database systems). Verifying data by comparing it to source documents. Update existing data. Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested. Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation. Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost.
