The research team in the society addressed issues regarding children's welfare and parenting practices. I was the acting team leader of a team of five, and was steering the statistical analysis and publication of the research projects. I sometimes met with stakeholders and social workers to provide advice on evaluation and design of programs. To widen the reach of the society, I prototyped a newsletter to share research findings in an engaging and less technical manner with general public.

I curated daily newsletters to keep clients up to date about their industries. I also conducted media analysis to inform them about their reputation in print and online media. The industry I worked in included FMCG, mining, oil, banking, regulatory agencies etc. I also curated daily headlines for DJX platform and Factiva industry pages. On top of these projects, I did quality check of websites fed into the company database during my free time.

I was the project manager of two projects: 1) Pervasive Sensing Social Network Study; 2) Executive Function in Bilingual Adults and Elderly. In both projects, I designed experiments and questionnaires based on extensive literature review. I picked up MatLab and R to computerize the experiments, randomized item display and automatize data collection and management. I was also in charge of participant recruitment and other logistics such as equipment. I ran preliminary analysis by using SPSS and R.
