 Responsible for 4 different projects.  Work on several cost saving ideas and present them to stakeholders.  Create and track date-related tasks for each project periodically.  Organize discussion with the assembly and manufacturing teams to discuss project progress.  Cataloging and creating new part numbers in SAP; carryout BOM changes in SolidWorks & SAP.  Coordination with suppliers, test team, design team & development team.

Designing, researching, and investigating the design, functionality, and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes.

Worked as techno-functional SAP BI/BO consultant involving in requirements gathering, design, development, validation, and post-production support. Extracting data from SAP ECC to BW via delta mechanism in Supply Chain Management (Sales Orders/Deliveries), Billing/Invoice, Materials Management (MM), and Production Planning (PP) and Production Control (PC) functional areas.

Design new/modify existing engine components Worked on different on/off-highway engines converting them from diesel to natural gas, with changes in cylinder head, fuel system, intake/exhaust systems, etc. Performing cross-functional design reviews (E-D-L-P) to pass the component from Experimental->Design->Limited production->Production phase Communicating with vendors regarding drawing issues, performing Drawing Quality Review (DQR), creating Purchase Orders (PO), etc.

Aiding the product manager in new design of Modular Drawer Cabinets (MDC) using Pro-Sheetmetal Creo 2.0, Windchill 2.0 and AutoCAD LT-2014 , thereby enhancing a rapid product launch in the market (NPI)

Designing & preparing Bill of Materials (BOM) for different trailers using Pro-E Creo 2.0 & AutoCAD Actively involved in building jigs & fixtures Oversee build and installation of production in assembly plants. Investigate design and assembly issues and resolve thru engineering practices, if required.
