Master thesis on implementation and evaluation of a flexible beam model in vehicle dynamics simulation using Dymola. -Twist beam suspension modeling in Dymola VDL using Euler-Bernoulli beam -ABAQUS beam modal reduction and MNF generation for ADAMS/Car model -Suspension K&C analysis in ADAMS and VDL -Chassis modeling in VDL -Open loop maneuver, real time simulation in Dymola

I was part of the chassis team involving the design, analysis and manufacture of Carbon fibre composite monocoque for Formula Student. ANSYS Composite PrePost was extensively used to analyse a chassis for stiffness and ply failure. I also performed calculations and physical testing to prove structural equivalence to baseline spaceframe structure. Metal shop, welding and composite manufacturing experience.

Chassis Design: Worked on multi body simulation of suspension subsystems and full vehicle model in ADAMS/Car. Evaluation of ride and handling performance was done using detailed multi body models using flexible bodies. FEM analysis of suspension components( Uprights, suspension frame, control arms, pedals) done for stiffness, durability and static strength using NASTRAN/ABAQUS solvers and Altair Hypermesh preprocessor.
