    Title: Model-based Charging Protocol Optimization for Lithium-ion Batteries • Defined testing protocol for Experimental cell testing for cell characterization and model Parameterization. • Developed a Split ECM model in MATLAB/ Simulink. • Automated the parametrization approach, accelerating model setup for different cell chemistries. • Scaled model from an experimental cell to a 21700 high-power commercial cell. • Reduced charging time by 33% for 0-50% SOC, with no additional degradation.
