The main purpose of the job as a HR Manager is to implement, coordinate and improve HR procedures and policies in order to ensure excellent HR follow up, to provide HR support for all D&M locations in Europe (Eindhoven, Nettetal, Osnabrück, Worms, Paris, London and Belfast), in total almost 200 employees and to act as a partner always considering the impact on the business.
For employees and management, the HR Business Partner is their first point of contact. I started at the R&D-department within DFI and after a year, I started servicing the manufacturing department and Logistics (250 employees), a very high-pressure, dynamic environment. I supported management and made decisions in performance management, career development, reward policies and programs, guidance in compensation decisions, recruitment, identifying critical HR business needs, cultural change, etc.

These services include consultation and advice on areas such as recruitment, selection, and appointment, interpretation of awards and enterprise bargaining agreements, issues relating to the maintenance of conditions of employment, salary and benefits administration, employee relations issues, learning and development activities, and job design and evaluation.
