Named President for the 2009/2010 Rotary Year. In 2004, was selected from over 10 applicants to participate in Rotary International’s Group Study Exchange program that provided a cultural and vocational exchange to the North Island of New Zealand. Part of the Rotary Leadership Institute as a Discussion Leader from 2008 – 2009.

Accountable for leading Organization Development and Learning Team, comprised of 10 direct reports. A fantastic team who are accountable for the design and implementation of organizational wide programs and services including, but not limited to execution of Vancity’s diversity strategy, leadership development, succession planning, performance management, recognition, learning & development consulting, and change management/leadership.

Led committee of 4 in the selection and sourcing of speakers for the 2010 BC HRMA conference. Approximately 1000 delegates attended with Talent Management track covering recruitment, succession planning, learning & development, and leadership

Top Consulting position responsible for leading Performance & Learning Consultant Team, a high-profile group focused on blended learning curriculum supporting 2000+ employees across the Vancity Group. Accountabilities include strategic consulting, vendor relationship management, team leadership and operational management.

Planned and Delivered Resettlement Assistance Program in partnership with Immigrant Services Society of British Columbia – providing basic financial literacy education and services to new Canadians. Provided financial guidance and services to Vancity’s membership including cash flow analysis and planning, mortgage and personal loans, insurance, investments and estate planning
