Bearbeitung des BMWi geförderten Projekts "DigitShip". Verarbeitung von Messdaten, deren Aufbereitung und analyse hinsichtlich Vebrauchsminimierung von Containerschiffen.

Conducting numerical simulations using RANSE type CFD codes to investigate and analyse different effects on the hydrodynamic damping of a moored semi-submersible floating wind turbine. Verification and Validation studies of CFD simulations for floating wind turbine applications and comparison with experiments. The research was supported by MARIN and the University of Duisburg-Essen. Graduated with a PhD in engineering, i.e. Dr.-Ing.

The work was entitled with "Modelling tools and methodologies for Floating Offshore Wind Turbines" The research work was part of OceaNET. OceaNET is a multinational Initial Training Network (ITN) funded under the PEOPLE Programme (Marie Curie Actions) of European Union’s FP7. http://www.oceanet-itn.eu/ Within this project I worked on the numerical simulations of the aerodynamic and hydrodynamic side of a floating wind turbine involving RANSE and BEMT methods.

Title of Master thesis: "Calculation and Validation of Wave-In-Deck Loads on a Fixed Platform Deck with CFD" Using CFD (ReFRESCO: refresco.org) to investigate long and short-crested wave loads on a platform deck and comparison with model test data. The work was supported by MARIN.
