Simona Girardi

During my time at University I volunteered to work on the Open Days held in the autumn and spring. My responsibilities Included : One-to-one communication with students and parents; Giving presentations; Working in teams with other ambassadors in order to provide the best experience possible for the open-day visitors.

During the summer of 2013 I was employed by Kids & Us to teach at their summer camp in Sant Boi, Barcelona. My responsibilities included: Caring and educating 8-10 children of ages 4-5; Ensuring the establishments met the safety requirements; Preparing and scheduling each day's lessons; Controlling inventory levels for teaching materials.

This position consisted of an internship in which I learned the basics of the financial management of a business. My responsibilities included: Conducting customer profitability analysis; Conducting product profitability analysis; Administration tasks such as organizing invoices.

My responsibilities included: Transcribing interviews onto a word document. This required good listening skills and team work to achieve organisation and completion of the interviews.
