Upper limb biomechanics. - Developed a kinematic model to study the upper limb in normal subjects and patients with injuries to their forearms - Investigated the compensatory mechanisms of subjects with radial head injuries performing activities of daily living - Determined the moment arms and lines of action of muscles that cross the forearm axis (in-vivo and in-vitro tests) - Developed a kinematic model to study the scapula in normal subjects

Spine biomechanics. - Performed research studies on spine impact biomechanics in high +GZ environment

Lower limb prosthetics. - Developing and implementing effective questionnaires and surveys to determine activities of daily living in the elderly and disabled, in line with social research methods - Clinical research trials for the testing of a ‘direct’ prosthetic socket - Establish modelling techniques for forearm tendon transfer in SIMM

Lower limb prosthetics. - Design, create and revise research protocol for material fabrication of prosthetic socket. - Protocol development, design and review; recruitment of participants; administration of informed consents; sample and study document preparation; data collection, interpretation and analysis.
