Automatic Temperature Control of Spout Cooling System using PLC

Bachleor Thesis : I did one month thesis with TNPL (Tamilnadu Newsprint and Paper Limited, India). I have programmed Siemen SIMATIC S7-400 PLC to control the temperature of spout which gets feedback from different sensors of the system. This control system was designed to support HART protocol. I varied the control valve opening, pump speed and did many interlocks using PLC in order to keep the crucial metal’s temperature constant.
