Functional development, modeling, and simulation of a 2:1 roping elevator model using MATLAB/Simulink to accurately simulate its dynamics. Research involving MATLAB coding on longitudinal vibrations of elevator system ropes.
My project revolved around designing rope drives using MATLAB/Simulink and Simscape, as well as conducting calculations for bending cycles. The key responsibilities in this role involved gaining a comprehensive understanding of drum and sheave systems, creating a model for analysis, and thoroughly documenting the obtained results.
