At the Institute of Thermodynamics and Sustainable Propulsion Systems, I lead the development of technical methods for official EU certification of CO2 and energy consumption for heavy-duty trailers (VECTO Trailer) and electrified heavy-duty vehicles (xEVs in VECTO). These methods are applied to every new vehicle and trailer under regulation, forming the basis for assessing manufacturer’s compliance with CO2 reduction targets and the transition toward lower-emission transportation.

• Designed and developed exhaust aftertreatment systems for a wide range of commercial vehicle applications. • Parameterized, simulated, and validated exhaust aftertreatment systems in a virtual development environment (AVL Boost, Cruise M, Concerto, MATLAB). • Created, adapted, and analysed 3D CAD models of various exhaust aftertreatment system variants in PTC Creo to support packaging and integration evaluations.
