The goal of this work was to create by genetic engineering a new yeast strain able to produce steroids. I inserted and tested in the yeast genome some genes of animals and plants. Moreover, I used microarray technology (cDNA & Oligonucleotide) to study the yeast genome expression modification and developed some tools in visual basic to help to analyze the large amount of data produced.
