Hired as President and CEO of Ireko Construction and quickly expanded scope of responsibilities to include Ireko Interiors, Ireko Design, Ireko Climatics, and Ireko Joinery Contractors Limited companies. Challenged to develop business into premier builder in Mauritian and regional markets by building reputation for quality and timeliness while securing additional external contracts. Managed 9 direct and 400+ indirect reports.

Brought in to establish presence in Trinidad, overseeing 2 multimillion-dollar building projects. Held full project operational control from pre-contract negotiations to subcontractor selection to program oversight. Inherited large multi-story car park project in centre of Port of Spain that was delayed, losing money and facing quality issues.

Enlisted in start-up stages with synthetic rubber manufacturer to transform initial scientific concepts and designs from into tactical full scale development. Gauged viability of proposed operations by crafting detailed development rollout programs that included projected costs and plant revenue. Challenged to secure funding to move into full scale production.

Recruited to spearhead multimillion-dollar operations in Asia, with direct accountability for financial performance, business development, operations excellence, and 60-member staff. Identified and capitalized on new business opportunities throughout Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, and Philippines by building relationships, promoting organization, and generating leads.

Led team of Malaysian project managers and engineering staff to complete major projects, including high-rise bank, wafer chip plant, and multimillion-dollar luxury 165-unit residential complex. Built and ran Thai/Vietnamese joint venture construction company.
