My main duties have involved but are not limited to, carrying out detailed technical inspections of varied sub-sea engineering apparatus - structures, high pressure pipelines flowlines, pressure vessels and weldments. Being responsible for the QA / QC of Inspection results, handling Client communication timely and effectively, providing daily support between client and contractor. Ensuring in compliance with the Contractor and Subcontractor’s company policies and practices.

Contracted as an NDT technician my main duties have involved but are not limited to the inspections of high-pressure pipelines, vessels and weldments, with the aid of Rope Access and full Breathing Apparatus when and where required. These tasks have been carried out on varied offshore installations within the Oil and Gas industry as well as Onshore Oil and Gas Refineries and the Offshore Greater Gabbard Wind Farm Lowestoft.

Contracted as one (1) of the on-board Roustabouts then through time being promoted to the role of a Roughneck. Duties include but are not limited to maintenance of the drilling jack up, pipe connecting, rabbiting pipe, chemical mixing, aiding the on-board crane crew with lifting operations.

Serving as an infantry soldier, my role has given me the chance to serve in theatres around the world. Africa, Belize, Brunei, Canada, Corsica, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Northern Ireland. Duties include but are not limited to carrying out frontline and peacekeeping operations. Courses completed include but are not limited to Airborne Assault, Air Diving, Arms and Munitions, First Aid, Ordnance, Radio Operator and Jungle Operations.
