• Experience of high specification centrifugal pump and mechanical seal support system design for petrochemical and chemical industries using SolidWorks • Lead engineer on successful pump contracts for numerous major international customers • Designing equipment destined for onshore and offshore operational facilities around the globe • Creation and modification of bills of material used in MRP system • Successfully designed for numerous types of parts made by machining, casting and welded fabrication

• 3D & 2D CAD product design work for internationally recognised brands of lawn & garden products • Work on successful designs for parts made by machining, pressing, casting and plastic injection moulding • Experience with the use of FDM rapid prototyping • Communication, co-operation and co-ordination with other company departments to deliver high quality parts at low cost

• Occasional freelance work updating and modifying existing designs to specification

• 3D & 2D CAD product, tool, jig & fixture and rapid prototyping design work for both in-house design projects and external customers to contract • Work on products for the Telecommunications, Medical & Automotive industries • Work on successful designs for parts and tools made by machining, plastic-, metal- and ceramic injection moulding • Experience with the use of SLA (stereo-lithography) rapid prototyping
