Problem solving techniques using six sigma tools to reduce product/production defects in manufacturing assembly.

I was responsible for design and developing Engine interface parts like flywheel, flywheel housing, air & water plumbing, breather etc. which forms an interface between Cummins engine and OEM parts. Designed the parts, validated the using computational analysis and lab testing and released the parts in Cummins. Also responsible for the development of the parts with suitable suppliers with good capability and establish a channel by production parts approval.

Handled customer accounts using Key Account Management. Project management for engine development for Indian railways. Conducted Technical negotiations with OEM and Cummins cross-functional team. Coordinate for engine inspections and installation of engines at customer premises. Supported in problem-solving to reduce quality issues for the product. Achieved a special project on time performing market intelligence on competitive product using project management skills.

Worked closely with research and development team to introduce SAIL valve technology into the market by analysing patents and generating ideas to break through it, study competitive market technology through reverse engineering.
