An Active Learning Approach for Network Anomaly Detection Contribution and Innovation • Implemented active and passive learning frameworks and also ensemble sampling query strategy. • Developed deep active and passive learning models. • Optimized the number of queries. • Used HDBSCAN clustering and label propagation method for further reducing number of queries. Result Achieved 94% F1 score using the Ensemble Sampling method with 8.7% of manual labelling and 5.2% and 2.5% of FNR and FPR.
