Led Microfluidics research group, mentoring Phds, bachelors & master students, responsible to set up clean room class 1000 for photolithography. Cross-department collaboration with electronics, biology and chemistry dept to develop microfluidic devices for biology. Delivered lecture on surfaces and interfaces.

“Analysis of UV-absorber Concentration in PMMA films by Raman Spectroscopy”

During my Phd work I investigated scratch resistant coatings made of polyurethane and epoxy based acrylates with and without nanoparticles. This work showed how the presence of nanoparticles affect the UV polymerization and mechanical strength of these coatings and the interdependency of various other factors. Additionally I was actively involved in teaching activities for Master students.
