As research intern at the Mechanobiology Institute (MBI), National University of Singapore (NUS), I worked in the division of bioengineering. My task was the implementation of Scanning Angle Interference Microscopy (SAIM). I was involved in cell culture work, sample preparation, imaging and image analysis and helped to work out a standardized workflow. We applied this method to gain a nano-resolution height map of the cellular membrane.
