Teaching Master Level Specialized Course: Document and Content Analysis (under Prof. Andrea Dengel AG Knowledge-Based System)

Taught Bachelor level courses “Computer Graphics” (during WS18/19) and “Computer Vision” (during WS16/17) in Berlin campus of German University Cairo (GUC).

Worked in core technology department, with special emphasis on document image analysis for digital mailroom system including business and financial forms, text and emails processing

My primary research interest is in developing generic layout analysis of a diverse collection of document images. I apply techniques from human visual perception, machine learning, and computer vision for this problem.

Completed internship in C&C (Computer and Communications) Innovation Initiative, NEC, Japan. Area of research: Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Topic of internship: "Agents' Behavior Based Traffic Guidance/Simulation Systems".

Worked as a research assistant in Industrial Mathematics, Image Processing Department of Fraunhofer, ITWM, Kaiserslautern, Germany.

Worked as a research scholar in Image Understanding and Pattern Recognition (IUPR) Group (Prof. Dr. Thomas Breuel), DFKI, in the area of Document Image Analysis.

Taught Bachelor/Undergraduate courses in Computer and Information System Engineering Department of NED University of Engineering and Technology during February 2003 to January 2007. Afterward remained attached with NEDUET till January 2011 as study leave.

My primary research interest was in developing generic layout analysis of a diverse collection of document images. I apply techniques from human visual perception, machine learning, and computer vision for this problem.

Gave exams of following the following specialized courses: Pattern Recognition and Statistical Learning, Image and Video Processing, Autonomous Mobile Robots, Biologically Motivated Robots, Formal Specification and Verification Techniques.
