I worked in the Amazonia exhibition, where I prepared diets for monkeys, sloth, tortoises, sting rays, and arapaima (a very large fish species). I also cleaned the filters for the arapaima enclosure, cultured crickets, and cultured mill-worms. I was responsible for either cleaning the rainbow boa enclosure or handling the boas while a partner cleaned the enclosure. I was also responsible for teaching visitors about animals in the exhibition and about Amazon conservation efforts.
